THE FORT FREMONT DIORMA at the HISTORY CENTER
Our famous diorama is housed in the Fort Fremont History Center at the Preserve
on Land's End Road, Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. Beginning April 1st the History Center will
be open and staffed on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and on Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
We are proud to display this view of the entire Fort as it existed in the past. It dipicts
the layout of the Fort Fremont buildings and grounds, circa 1910. Also included are detailed miniatures of
the two batteries, and the disappearing guns which were mounted above the pits below Battery.
Thank you for visiting.

Master Miniaturist Dennis Cannady's accurately scaled Endicott Era support facilities and batteries can be viewed in the table below. Click on the small images to view larger views of the structures.
All structures were adopted to help fund the project.
The pieces were priced based on size and complexity of construction.
The diorama and a commemorative sponsorship plaque will be housed in the new interpretive center to be constructed this year at the Fort Fremont Preserve.
